Learning outcomes
Tasks of studying the discipline are aimed at forming the following competencies: to present their study of general and special principles of legal provision for the Internet of Things, using primary sources and methods of legal interpretation of complex issues arising from this study, to argue conclusions; to develop and teach special disciplines that cover the issues of legal provision for the use of the Internet of Things in various spheres of public life, in educational institutions, to apply modern educational technologies and teaching methods.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: 1. Know the basic principles of regulating Internet relations under the laws of Ukraine and the European Union; legal regimes for processing personal data and open data. 2. Be able to identify and analyze the tasks of legal regulation of public relations in the area of Internet of Things, the formation on their basis of digital infrastructure of smart cities. 3. To have basic skills in drafting legal documents, taking into account the peculiarities of the practical situation and with the help of legal methods to resolve legal conflicts related to the illegal use of the Internet of Things.
Course content
The discipline "Legal Provision for Internet of Things" is part of the cycle of professional training of specialists at educational qualification level "Master" in "Law" at the Education and Research Law School of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The main components of the discipline are aimed at providing students with knowledge on the concepts, types, legal regimes of the Internet of Things; concepts, types and directions of application of artificial intelligence technologies integrated into the Internet of Things; features of personal and open data processing using the Internet of Things; legal bases for the development of smart cities based on the use of the Internet of Things; formation of skills to correctly interpret the content of national and international law in the area of legal provision for the use of the Internet of Things; ensuring information security in the development and application of the Internet of Things.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The study of the discipline involves lectures and practical classes; express survey/testing/essay (abstract) on the proposed topic; module test; self-study in preparation for seminars; exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation can include: express survey, report, scientific work, multiple testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right ones), case solving (tasks), module test (final test). Things to be assessed in the process of ongoing performance evaluation at the seminars are: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student during seminars, the level of activity in discussing the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, self-study and individual assignments results.
The discipline is taught in two semesters. 10 days before the beginning of the session, the teacher who runs the seminars no longer accepts missing assignments. Students who have not scored the minimum threshold level of assessment are given a final test.
