Learning outcomes
Know the basic concepts and categories in the field of concluding, changing and terminating an employment contract in comparative and historical aspects; Be able to apply the rules of labor law and theoretical knowledge in the employment contract; Evaluate, draw up and express own conclusions, results; Form legal positions for solving theoretical problems and controversial practical situations in the field of application of norms on legal regulation of the institution of employment contract

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: - concepts, types of employment contract, their general characteristics; -features, elements of labor relations, grounds for origination, change and termination; 2. Be able to: - apply the norms of labor legislation on the employment contract - analyze the current national and international legislation on certain issues. 3. Possess basic skills in: - interpretation of labor legislation - drafting legal documents taking into account the features of the practical situation with the help of legal methods.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting comparative legal analysis in the field of employment contract of Ukrainian legislation, international legal norms of legislative regulation of individual countries, as well as in the historical aspect. Within the academic discipline the issues of the essence of the employment contract, historical stages of development of the employment contract, certain types of employment contract, types of changes in the terms of the employment contract, grounds for termination of employment are studied in the comparative aspect.

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final grade for this discipline can be 100 points. A student can receive a maximum of 60 points in the credit, to which the points obtained by the student during seminars are added. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the exam cannot be less than 36 points. If the student scored less than 36 points in the exam, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester), the information in the column "exam scores" is "0" and only the number of points obtained during the semester is transferred to the “final grade” column.
