Learning outcomes
To know the system of energy legislation; to know scientific approaches to the definition of energy law as a branch of law, research and academic discipline; To know the specifics of energy law as a field of legal practice; To be able to analyze the legal acts governing legal relations in the energy sector; To be able to summarize judicial practice concerning the energy sector.

To know administrative law, environmental law; To be able to analyze legal acts, legal sources, scientific sources and perform resolving cases; To have basic skills in writing legal documents.
Course content
The content of this discipline is the study of modern approaches to energy law, its subject, system and principles, problems of international energy law, energy law and policies of the European Union, energy law and policies in the Eastern European Partnership, energy law of Ukraine. Students study legal issues of energy security, access to energy services taking into account the concept of human rights protection, energy efficiency, renewable energy.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Giving lectures, seminars, independent work of students, also express questioning, participating in discussions, writing essays, preparing a presentation, report, draft decision.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: express questioning - from 1 to 6 points; reports, presentations and essays - from 6 to 7 points; participation in the discussion - up to 5 points; solving cases - up to 5 points.
