Achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as knowledge and understanding of the legal regulation of public procurement; ability to protect the rights of business entities; ability to work with economic legislation, apply its provisions; ability to give legal assessment of specific situations that arise in the field of public procurement.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knows the norms of the Economic Code of Ukraine and legislation from the course "Economic Law" which regulate the legal status of economic entities of various forms of organization, determine the legal status of their property, the system of bodies resolving economic disputes, the Economic Procedural Code of Ukraine from the course “Economic Procedural Law ”, the Law of Ukraine“ On Public Procurement” and legislation in this area. Be able to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained during the lectures by means of analysing sources of special literature on relevant topics of the course; apply the knowledge acquired from other disciplines, in particular, civil and economic law; use legal information and analytical resources of the Internet; perform self-study tasks, solve problems. Possess skills for drafting procedural documents and law enforcement acts in the field of economic activity
Course content
The course is aimed at mastering the basic principles and provisions of the application of legislation in the field of public procurement regulation and the study of the peculiarities of procurement relations e. Forms and methods of teaching are aimed at conducting legal analysis of procurement relations and economic activity used in the operations of business entities; ability to solve complex problems in the field of lawmaking and law enforcement.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms and methods of teaching are aimed at conducting legal analysis of economic relations and economic activity of business entities; ability to solve complex problems in the field of lawmaking and law enforcement. The course focuses on general characteristics of subjects; state regulation; property basis of economic activity; economic agreement; economic and legal liability, bankruptcy. The course stipulates in-depth study of current economic legislation of Ukraine, legal literature, basic concepts and special terminology.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final mark is the sum of the student’s points based on the results of the semester assessment and the mark for the exam (points received at the credit). The maximum final grade for the course can be 100 points. The student can score a maximum of 60 points on the credit. Types of formative assessment are chosen by the teacher who conducts seminars in agreement with the lecturer and in accordance with the course syllabus. Types of formative assessment can include express questioning, colloquium, problem solving (case study), testing (MCQ), module tests.
