Learning outcomes
know the basics of property rights protection of business entities, methods, forms, means of their protection, the legal basis for resolving contractual and pre-contractual disputes, the procedure for appealing actions and decisions of state bodies. Be able to define the concept of contractual disputes, the effect of laws on economic contracts in time, the application by the court of the analogy of law in resolving contractual disputes. Resolve the situations proposed in a case (problem), correctly and reasonably apply legal norms; analyse practical situations that arise during the implementation and protection of the rights of participants of economic relations, know and analyse the legal position of higher courts with regard to the relevant category of cases; have a good command of legal terminology in the field of economic law and procedure; competently and accurately formulate and express personal position, properly substantiate it, participate in professional discussions

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know: the provisions of the Economic Code of Ukraine and legislative acts governing the legal status of business entities, determine the legal status of their property, the system of bodies resolving economic disputes, the norms of the Economic Procedural Code of Ukraine; 2. Be able to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained during lectures by means of processing sources of special literature on relevant topics of the course; use the knowledge acquired from other disciplines, in particular, civil and economic law; use legal information and analytical resources of the Internet; perform self-study tasks, solve problems. 3. Possess skills for drafting law enforcement acts and procedural documents; select methods and forms of protection and resolution of legal disputes in the field of economic activity, taking into account the peculiarities of a specific situation and with the help of legal methods
Course content
The discipline is aimed at gaining theoretical and practical knowledge and skills for appealing decisions and actions of public authorities, protection of economic rights, regulation of economic contractual relations, the ability to work with legal acts and skills of their practical application, study of case law on disputes in the area of business entities’ rights protection.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Types of classes include lectures, seminars, guest lectures. Forms of learning: group learning. Teaching methods: the optimal combination of general didactic methods, interactive techniques and teaching aids used to organize the educational process at the university (teaching material in the form of lectures using video presentations, dialogue, discussion, questioning, role play, mini-group work etc.). Presentations of lectures, online learning materials, problems (practical cases), tests, individual self-study tasks are used.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of formative assessment are chosen by the teacher who conducts practical lessons. Semester assessment: 1. report - from 3 to 5 points; 2. questioning - from 3 to 5 points; 3. participation in the discussion - from 3 to 5 points; 4. individual written task - from 6 to 10 points. 5. solving a case (problem) - up to 3 to 5; 6. module test - from 6 to 10 points Students can complete a missed lesson within 14 days after recovery by means of an oral answer or written assignment. The maximum score that can be achieved by a student at the end of the semester is 40 points; minimum - 24 points. The form of final control is a credit, where the maximum number of points that a student can achieve is 60.
