Learning outcomes
Have specialized conceptual knowledge acquired in the process of studying the concept, subject, methods, systems and sources of information technology law of the European Union. Know the peculiarities of the legal regimes of circulation of official information, personal data, commercial, banking, official, professional and state secrets in the European Union. Critically consider the issues associated with the creation and application of information technology, systems, including: distributed registers, technology "cloud" computing, artificial intelligence under European Union law. Be able to solve complex tasks and legal issues of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to the legislation of the European Union in the area of creation and application of information technologies, which requires updating and integration of knowledge, often in incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements. Be able to identify the sources of information technology law of the European Union.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: 1. Know the main aspects of the formation and development of leading institutions of information technology law of the European Union, features of legal regimes of specific types of information, requirements of European Union legislation for information activities, scientific sources in the area of information technology law, legal principles of information relations practice of resolving the main categories of information disputes in the European Union. 2. Be able to assess, determine the legal significance and objectives of the main institutes of European Union Information Technology Law, to characterize certain types of information activities and legal regimes of information, to formulate essential terms of the most common information and legal agreements in the European Union. protection of information rights of a person under the legislation of the European Union, including in legal relations with a foreign element.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at legal analysis of the subject, methods, systems, sources of information technology law of the European Union, means of legal regulation of certain types of information activities carried out in EU Member States, research of theoretical and applied problems of information law enforcement. prevention of information offenses, as well as characterization of modern aspects of the development of e-government in the European Union. The discipline studies the concept, subject and methods of information technology law of the European Union, legal institutions that belong to its general and special parts, legal prerequisites for the formation, concepts, structures, trends in the information society, analysis of certain types of information activities in the territory of the European Union.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The study of the discipline includes lectures, seminars; polls (express survey)/testing/essay (reference paper) on the proposed topic; module tests; self-study, individual assignments; credit (exam).
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation are selected by the teacher who conducts seminars, in consultation with the lecturer and in compliance with this program. With the current control during the seminars, the following should be assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by a student in response, activity in discussing the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework. The teacher who conducts the seminars sets the number of points scored from the current control and enters them in the relevant documents of student performance. If a student is absent for good reasons, he can once complete the missed lesson through an oral interview in extracurricular time (teacher consultation time), solving a practical case, preparing a draft regulation or individual act. According to the results demonstrated the teacher can award up to 5 points.
