Learning outcomes
Students’ gaining new and in-depth knowledge of procedural problems of exercising land rights; formation of skills to find solutions for specific cases on procedural issues concerning implementation and protection of subjective land rights; formation of worldviews and legal awareness on the basis of the rule of law concerning procedural support and implementation of jurisdictional protection of land rights.

It is mandatory to preliminary
1. Know the subject of land, civil and other branches of law within national legal system; system and structures of executive bodies and local self-government bodies; theoretical principles of property rights; grounds, conditions, methods and procedure for exercising land rights; forms and methods of land rights protection.
2. Be able to work with information retrieval systems of regulatory and theoretical sources; to systematize and analyze the materials of public authorities and local self-government practice; use different ways of interpreting legal norms.
3. Possess basic skills of professional activity, determination of strategy and tactics of solving practical legal issues, preparation of applications (petitions), claims for protection of subjective rights to land.
Course content
The actual theoretical and practical procedural problems of acquisition, realization, protection of subjective land rights are studied. Procedural features of the bases, conditions, ways and the order of land rights realization are revealed; the formation of students’ practical skills is provided for the use of various legal processes of acquisition, implementation and protection of land rights.

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final grade for this discipline is 100 points. The student receives maximum 60 points at the exam. The points obtained by the student during seminars troughout semester are added to exam points. To obtain an overall positive grade for the discipline, the grade for the exam is supposed to be not less than 36 points. If the student scored less than 36 points at the exam, the latter is not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester). In this case the information in "exam scores" column is "0" whereas "final grade" column reflects only the number of points obtained during the semester.
