Learning outcomes
Know: basic doctrinal approaches to understanding of additional social security for employees, its types and forms, legal mechanism and principles of legal regulation in Ukraine; analyze labor legislation, social security legislation and the practice of their application to additional social security for employees, identify existing issues and suggest possible solutions; critically comprehend the legal mechanism of additional social security of employees in Ukraine through the prism of universal and regional international acts; develop projects of local and individual acts; substantiate, evaluate, demonstrate the results of the study and participate in discussions of issues related to additional social security of employees and the feasibility of its implementation in a particular enterprise; independently form a method of implementing additional social security for employees (legal aspect).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the formation and development of legal regulation of labor relations and social security relations in Ukraine, features and characteristics of labor relations and related social security relations, their legal nature; scientific sources on the issues of legal regulation of this type of relationship, the acts of legislation governing them and the practice of resolving relevant disputes.
Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of legal regulation of labor and social security relations, to give their legal characteristics.
Possess basic skills in drafting local and individual acts, taking into account the specifics of the practical situation and using legal methods to resolve disputes arising in connection with the violation of labor rights and rights in the field of social security.

Verbal: explanation, discussion, lecture, seminar, independent work, individual task.

Practical: analysis of current local rule-making practice, judicial practice, practical tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
The minimum score to be obtained by a student according to the established forms of assessment is 24 points. The maximum score that can be obtained by a student per semester is 40 points. The forms of semester assessment cannot exceed 40 points in total.
The maximum final grade for this discipline can be 100 points. The student can receive a maximum of 60 points in the credit, to which the points obtained by the student during seminars are added. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the credit may not be less than 36 points. If the student scored less than 36 points, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester), the information in the column "credit points" is "0" and in the column "resulting grade" only the number of points obtained during the semester is transferred.
