Know the provisions of the doctrine of the right to social care and services, subject, features of the method, system, principles and sources of the right to care and services Be able to make and justify decisions to resolve the dispute, choose effective mechanisms to restore the violated rights of the person, to prepare expert opinions.

Know the development of scientific thought on the formation of such institutions in the field of social security law as social care and social services; legal issues of reforming legislation and adapting national legislation to the EU legislation in the field of social care and services provision. Be able to navigate the system of legislation in the field of social care and services, think critically in the direction of improving existing legislation, analyze case law. Possess the knowledge necessary to do tests, study scientific sources, perform other types of independent work.

Teaching this discipline is aimed at developing students' deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the legal nature of the right to social care and social services, methods, principles and sources in this area, the system of social care and social services, the concept of legal relations in the field of care and services , single contribution to the obligatory state social insurance, insurance period and the order of its calculation, characteristics of types of assistance, conditions of appointment, order of calculation, obligations of the parties, grounds for reviewing the amount and termination of payments, concepts, types of social services, conditions of provision and termination social services.
