Learning outcomes
Students' achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as:
ability to apply in theory and practice general and special knowledge of the provisions of legal services;
ability to interpret and apply effective methods of legal marketing;
ability to create and promote the image of a law firm; ability to prepare a draft marketing plan of a law firm and present it;
collect and systematically analyze materials from various sources, including scientific and professional literature, databases, digital, statistical, etc. and verify their authenticity using modern research methods;
participate in the development of draft regulatory acts, in substantiating public needs for their implementation, plan the results of their impact on relevant public relations;
develop and study special subjects in educational institutions, apply modern educational technologies and methods

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the application of legislation, regulate marketing aspects in the field of legal practice, features of classification and content of types of legal practice, legal services; literature sources, legislation governing the marketing of legal services.
Know how to evaluate and determine the role and tasks of professionals who, in accordance with their competence in the law firm perform the functions of marketing legal services for independent performance of work on effective advertising of the law firm or delegating this performance to third parties.
Have basic skills in determining effective methods of legal marketing and preparing a marketing plan for a law firm.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting a legal analysis of the legislation governing the marketing of legal services and the study of theoretical and practical issues of legal marketing. According to the educational course, the following issues are studied: methods of legal market analysis; ways to create a legal business in Ukraine; basic principles of marketing legal services; features of the organization of marketing activities in a law firm; legal aspects of legal services regulations; ways to form the image of a law firm in the market; features of the quality of legal services.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, self-study work of the graduate student (student) on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Know the main aspects of the application of legislation governing marketing aspects in the field of legal practice, features of classification and content of legal practice, legal services, literature sources, legislation governing the marketing of legal services.
Be able to determine the role and tasks of specialists who in accordance with their competence in a law firm perform functions of marketing of legal services, evaluate the work of specialists who in accordance with their competence in a law firm perform functions of marketing of legal services.
Independently perform work on effective advertising of a law firm or delegate this implementation to third parties.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester forms of assessment:
express questioning - from 1 to 6 points, colloquium - from 3 to 7 points; reports and scientific works - from 6 to 10 points, testing (from the set of judgments to choose the correct ones) - from 6 to 9 points; problem solving - from 6 to 8 points for each.
The minimum score to be obtained by a student in the appropriate forms of assessment for two semesters is 24 points. The maximum score that can be obtained by a student during two semesters is 40 points. During the current control during the seminars, the following should be assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in response, activity in discussing the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of homework.
According to the results of the final form of control (credit test) the student can get a maximum of 60 points.
