Learning outcomes
Students acquisition of new and in-depth knowledge on the issues of exercising property rights and other real rights to land; formation of skills to solve problem-solving and specific cases on the implementation and protection of subjective property rights to land; formation of worldviews and legal awareness on the basis of the rule of law in the exercise and jurisdictional protection of property rights to land.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
It is mandatory to preliminary 1. Know the subject of land, civil and other branches of law of the national legal system; system and structures of executive bodies and local self-government bodies; theoretical principles of property rights; grounds, conditions, methods and procedure of exercising the right of ownership and other real rights to land plots and their restrictions; forms and methods of protection of land rights. 2. Be able to work with information retrieval systems of regulatory and theoretical sources; to systematize and analyze the materials of the practice of public authorities and local self-government bodies; use different ways of interpreting legal norms. 3. Have basic skills of professional activity, determination of strategy and tactics of solving practical legal issues, preparation of applications (petitions) and claims for protection of subjective rights to land.
Course content
The actual theoretical and practical problems of acquisition, realization and protection of subjective real rights to land plots are studied, features of the bases, conditions, ways and the order of realization of the property right and other real rights to land plots are revealed. The course provides the ability to gain practical skills in the use of various methods of jurisdictional protection of property rights in combination with other land titles.

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final grade for this discipline is 100 points. The student receives maximum 60 points at the exam. The points obtained by the student during seminars troughout semester are added to exam points. To obtain an overall positive grade for the discipline, the grade for the exam is supposed to be not less than 36 points. If the student scored less than 36 points at the exam, the latter is not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester). In this case the information in "exam scores" column is "0" whereas "final grade" column reflects only the number of points obtained during the semester.
