Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes include such knowledge, skills and abilities as: to know: conceptual theoretical and legal principles of the environmental policy of Ukraine, the history of formation, theory, principles, methods, concepts, strategies and tactics of the national environmental policy and their critical understanding; the state of the legislative support for the formation and implementation of the environmental policy in Ukraine and the world; a mechanism for the legal support and tools for implementing the national environmental policy of Ukraine; to be able to: use the specialized acquired knowledge necessary to solve problems in the field of formation and implementation of strategies and tactics of the environmental policy in practical and scientific activities; when developing proposals and conclusions in legislative and law enforcement activities; apply the achievements of various sciences in the field of political science, public administration and economics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline are: the knowledge of jurisprudence, successful mastering of such normative courses as "Environmental Law of Ukraine" and "Problems of environmental and land law"; the basic knowledge of certain branches of law: constitutional, administrative, land, commercial, civil and others; the skills of perception and analysis of the provisions of national and international sources of law and basic skills in preparing drafts of legal instruments.
Course content
The discipline is aimed at studying: theoretical and legal foundations of the formation and development of environmental policy of Ukraine and the legal mechanism for implementing its strategic and tactical areas; the place and role of the environmental policy in the system of legal policy of Ukraine, legal features of environmental policy of the state, etc.; institutional and functional as well as functional and legal support for the implementation of environmental policy of the state under modern conditions; the analysis of ways to improve the environmental policy with a view to its European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Considering the content of the educational material and learning objectives, the following traditional and innovative learning technologies are used in the process of teaching the discipline: - lectures aimed at studying scientific and legal problems of the theory of legal principles of the formation and implementation of the environmental policy and the mechanism of its legal enforcement in Ukraine; - seminars, which provide a detailed examination of the theoretical provisions of the discipline (by preparing theoretical questions and discussions) and practical skills are formed (by analyzing programs, strategies, concepts, drafting strategic documents at various levels and types, using both national and international experience in the field of formation and implementation of the environmental policy; - the individual work consists of tasks for students to prepare creative works, comparative tables, analysis of materials for the self-study.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods and criteria are chosen by the teacher who conducts seminars, within the number of points provided by the curriculum. The semester assessment is carried out within the following limits: a report – from 4 to 6 points; a supplement to the report – from 2 to 4 points; a scientific work – from 4 to 6 points; a written solution of problems – from 2 to 4 points; testing (from the set of statements to choose the right ones) – from 4 to 6 points; express questioning – from 3 to 4 points; a modal test – from 3 to 5 points x 2 (total from 6 to 10 points). The minimum score that a student can get for the appropriate forms of the assessment is 24 points per semester, and the maximum number of points – 40 points. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a credit. The maximum final score can be 100 points.
