Learning outcomes
Achievement by students of such competencies, skills and abilities as: the ability to think abstractly, analyze and synthesize; conduct research in the field of security obligations; reasonably discuss complex legal issues in the field of security obligations and make informed decisions; the ability to make decisions in situations requiring systematic, logical and functional interpretation of legal norms, as well as understanding the peculiarities of their application

Prerequisites and co-requisites
.Know the legal nature of obligations, the basic concepts of contractual law, to have a thorough understanding of the legislation defining the general principles of legal regulation of methods, primarily Civil and Commercial Codes, the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Protection", to know the content of basic explanations judicial and notarial bodies for their application. 2. Be able to correctly interpret the provisions of the legislation of Ukraine concerning obligations and security rights, to provide legal advice on the nature of a particular security method. 3. Have the skills to analyze the circumstances of the proposed cases, to determine the legal relationship, the sources of their regulation, and ways to resolve them.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at studying the specifics of the legislation governing security obligations in Ukraine, and the formation of skills related to the acquaintance and interpretation of the sources of contractual law. The subject of the discipline is the legislation of Ukraine in the field of regulation of security obligations, the practice of applying the law by national courts and notaries. The course provides a preliminary study by students of current legislation of Ukraine in the field of security obligations, legal literature, basic concepts and special terminology.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, independent work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
In seminars, the current control of student knowledge of the discipline includes:. express survey - from 2 to 5 points; colloquium - from 5 to 10 Types of current control are selected by the teacher who conducts seminars, in agreement with the lecturer and in accordance with this program. The forms of student assessment include: express survey; colloquium; reports and research papers; testing; module test; solving problems/cases, drafting a contract in private international law. The final assessment is a written exam. The minimum score to be obtained by a student during the semester is 24 points, the maximum score is 40 points. During the current control during seminars, the following are subject to evaluation: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in the answer, activity in discussing the issues of the seminar, systematic work in the classroom, and the results of the assignments. The final assessment is a test (maximum score - 60).
