Learning outcomes
Achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as: knowledge of the stages of origin and development of European integration associations; analysis of the legal nature of the law of the European Union, its subjects, sources of law; understanding the relationship between EU law and international and domestic law of member states; formation of high legal culture of students and development of ability to analyze and forecast development of political and legal institutes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Understand the preconditions for the origination of the European Union; analyze and critically comprehend the legal nature of the European Union, define the concept of the European Union law and its structure; guided by the competence of the European Union; able to identify theoretical and practical problems of legal regulation of Ukraine's relations with the European Union, offer proposals for their solution, analyzing and taking into account the experience of foreign countries, as well as European integration and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine.
Course content
The discipline examines the issues of legal regulation of relations between the European integration association and Ukraine, covers the harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with the European Union law, the concept of EU law, its legal nature, sources, structure and activities of EU institutions, procedures for adopting association acts, legal regulation of relations in the internal market of the European Union.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures and seminars based on the active use of the Socrates method and Socratic dialogue, express survey, participation in discussions, case studies, tests, essays, solving legal problems, tasks for the development of logical thinking, individual tasks, module tests.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of evaluation applied: ongoing performance evaluation and final evaluation. Assessment methods - the type of work / activity of an applicant, which will assess the level of achievement of learning outcomes (individual work, independent work, etc. and the minimum threshold after which an applicant gets a positive mark) - and evaluation criteria are communicated to applicants before studying the discipline by the teacher, who conducts seminars.
During ongoing performance evaluation and final evaluation such aspects should be considered: the level of "Knowledge", "Understanding", "Application", "Analysis" / "Synthesis" / "Evaluation".
The maximum number of points that can be scored by the applicant during ongoing performance evaluation - 40, final - 60.
The final grade in the discipline is set on a 100-point scale (ECTS grade scale) and the national scale.
