Learning outcomes
The student should know: thermodynamics of equilibrium states, thermodynamics of irreversible processes, physicochemical parameters of biological macromolecules, biophysics of biological macromolecules, physicochemical characteristics of cells and tissues, membrane transport, membrane potential and excitability of cells, biophysics of muscles and biomechanics mobility of biological objects, biophysics of sensor systems, biophysics of photobiological processes, radiation biophysics.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Secondary education. Basic knowledge at the level of a secondary school program in Physics, Mathematicians, Chemistry and Biology.
Course content
The discipline "Laboratory of Medical Physics" consists of two meaningful modules No. 1 "Fundamentals of Biological Physics" and No. 2 "Fundamentals of Medical Physics". In the first of them, the basic principles of biomechanics, mechanical oscillations and waves, acoustics, biological membranes and biological potentials are studied, in the second - electrostatics, electrical conductivity of biological tissues, magnetic field, electronic medical equipment, physical foundations of optical microscopy, refractometry and polarimetry, physical foundations of thermography, radiation and absorption of energy.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Conducting laboratory work in the amount of 40 hours.
Assessment methods and criteria
The academic discipline has two substantive modules, each of which is assessed for 30 points. Final evaluation (in the form of an exam): the form of the exam is written and oral. The examination ticket consists of 2 questions (15 points each) and a problem, which is evaluated up to 10 points. In total, you can get from 0 to 40 points for the exam. A condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is obtaining at least 60 points, the grade for the exam cannot be less than 24 points.
