To know: regional division of modern Ukraine in accordance with the theory of regionalism state policy of Ukraine on cultural development of regions after the restoration of independence main provisions of modern legislation of Ukraine in the field of cultural heritage protection; cultural monuments, their typology, classification and state of preservation; the basics of organising historical and cultural tourism. Be able to: analyse the cultural characteristics of the regions of Ukraine and their tourist attractiveness; apply the theoretical foundations of regional studies and tourism studies in designing the development of historical and cultural tourism in the regions of Ukraine; present the results of research and independent work in the form of reports, messages, presentations. Autonomy and responsibility: to be responsible for the accuracy of the research.

Before taking this course, students should know the main stages of the development of Ukraine's statehood, key events in the history of Ukraine, the main achievements of world and Ukrainian culture. Ukrainian culture, the main cultural phenomena, events and historical and cultural processes that took place on the territory of Ukraine, their periodisation and characteristics. Be able to collect and interpret information about events, processes, phenomena and phenomena of history and culture; analyse specialised scientific literature and reference materials on the historical and cultural development of the regions of Ukraine; identify factors of cultural development of regions at different historical stages, regional features and characteristics of cultural processes and phenomena.

Topic 1: Subject and objectives of the discipline "Ukrainian Regionalism". Theory of regionalism and regional division of modern Ukraine. Topic 2. Fundamentals of organisation of historical and cultural tourism. Topic 3. Lecture, seminar, self-study

Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral report, supplementary materials and participation in seminar discussions - 24 / 40 points. 2. Self-study (presentation of an independent study "Analysis of the tourist attractiveness of one of the regions of Ukraine and prospects for the development of historical and cultural tourism") - 6 / 10 points 3. Control work - 6 / 10 points The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student based on the results of mastering the material of the entire discipline. The total semester grade consists of the points obtained for 1) classroom work, 2) independent work, 3) control work. All types of current work in the semester have - a maximum of 60 points - a minimum of points Final assessment in the form of an exam: Exam in written form - 24 / 40 points.
