Learning outcomes
To know: - Organisational and economic principles of business activity in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment - The essence, types and documentation of expenses of business entities in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment Be able to: - Choose the optimal organisational and legal form of business activity in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment - Analyse the efficiency of use of fixed and current assets of the enterprise - Calculate the cost of products, goods and services in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment - Plan internal and external sources of financial support for business activities in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment Communication: - Present the results of their research. Autonomy and responsibility: - To solve complex problems related to the use of material, labour and financial resources to ensure effective activities in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before taking this course, students should know the basics of entrepreneurship and management in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment. 2. Be able to collect and interpret information on cultural phenomena, cultural processes and events; apply basic terms and categories for business organisation in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment; use general and special research methods and tools necessary to solve the problems of cultural studies. 3. Possess skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting in relation to political, economic, cultural and artistic phenomena; practical use of professional knowledge, skills and abilities.
Course content
Topic 1: Organisational and legal principles of entrepreneurial activity in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment; Topic 2. Fixed and current assets of enterprises in the field of culture: essence, types and analysis of efficiency of use; Theme 3: Expenses of cultural enterprises: essence, classification and accounting. Costing of products, works and services in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment; Topic 4. Financial results of economic activity in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment; Topic 5. Business planning in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment; Theme 6: Investing in projects in the field of culture, recreation and entertainment.

Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral report, amendments and participation in discussions at seminars - 12 / 30 points 2. Solving calculation and analytical problems and situational assignments - 18 / 30 points 3. Independent work (development of an operational financial plan) - 9 / 10 points 4. Self-study - 9 / 10 points All types of work for the semester have - a maximum of 80 points - a minimum of 48 points Final written test - 12 / 20 points The total number of points in the discipline (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test.
