To know: Modern methods, models, digital technologies in the process of evaluation, development and selection of projects at various levels of public administration, taking into account sustainable development indicators; International experience of project management, modern approaches to the implementation of projects; To be able to: Plan and carry out research in the field of public administration and management on the examination, development, implementation of projects and assessment of possible risks in their implementation; Effectively manage projects at various levels of public administration and management; To organise a project team and build a project structure; Communication: Use knowledge of foreign languages to analyse information resources; Present the results of research and independent work; Autonomy and responsibility: Independently search for and critically process literature on project management; Be responsible for the accuracy of information.

Full-time form

Before studying this course, students should know the main stages of project creation and implementation; peculiarities of the functioning of the system of public administration and local self-government; basic principles of sustainable development strategy, basics of project resource management. Be able to collect and interpret information on existing vectors of public policy making, local government activities; have basic skills of scientific research and information management, use of foreign language professional political science information sources. Possess basic skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting of political, economic, cultural, ideological and security events and phenomena; use foreign language professional political information sources.

Modern approaches, methods, models, digital technologies, international practices and innovations in project management; Topic 3: Basic forms of project organisational structure; Topic 4. Administration of projects and programmes in the public sphere at the national, regional and local levels; Topic 5. Project cycle management: features and methodology; Topic 6. Project analysis, decision-making and justification of project feasibility in the public sector; Topic 7. Project planning, its tools and features; Topic 8: Risk and quality management in projects; Topic 9: Evaluation of project performance and control of its implementation; Topic 10. Lectures, seminars, self-study

Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral report, additions and participation in seminar discussions - 20-35 points 2. Essay - 12-20 points 3. Synopsis of primary sources - 4-5 points 4. Written test - 12-20 points The total grade for the semester consists of the points obtained for classroom work (oral reports, additions and participation in seminar discussions) and for self-study (essays, synopsis). All types of work for the semester have - a maximum of 80 points - a minimum of 48 points The final written test is worth 12-20 points. The total number of points in the discipline (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test.
