Learning outcomes
1. to understand the specifics and features of the implementation of cultural ideas, images, and meanings, as well as to critically evaluate the possibilities of their interpretation to solve important problems for a society. 3. to analyze cultural rights and human freedoms, forms and mechanisms of their identification, inculturation, cultural adaptation, taking into account their regional specifics. 5. to organize and maintain communication with the authorities, research institutions, information and analytical services, mass media about the culture. 8. to make effective decisions to solve complex tasks and practical problems of cultural development of society. 10. to have decision making skills in management of cultural institutions or appropriate departments in unforeseen work and / or learning contexts. 12. to collect, analyze and evaluate empirical facts and interpret them in according to modern theoretical ideas of the relevant field of cultural studies.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students must know the basic stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; the basic methods of cultural studies; basic cultural concepts and categories; the basic of economics. 2. Students must be able to collect and interpret information on cultural phenomena, cultural processes and events; to apply the basic terms, categories and classifications of cultural studies; to identify current trends in the coexistence of different cultures in the context of globalization and intercultural dialogue. 3. Students must have basic skills in research and information management; must be able to demonstrate critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; must be able to use professional culturological information sources in foreign language
Course content
Part of the course 1. "Methodology of cross-cultural studies" Subject and objectives of cross-cultural studies. The main directions of cross-cultural studies. Social and cultural principles of economic activity. Social and cultural dynamics of economic life. Typologies of economic cultures and business behavior. Part of the course 2. "Value dimension of modern economies: cross-cultural analysis" Values of modern Ukrainian culture and features of business behavior in Ukraine. Values of modern economic cultures and models of cross-cultural behavior in business. Values of economic cultures and features of business behavior in Europe, USA, Canada. Values of economic cultures and features of business behavior in the countries of Southeast Asia. Values of economic culture and features of business behavior in Arab-Muslim countries, India and Latin America. Cross-cultural analysis of economic cultures.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 21/35 points 2. Self-study (synopsis of texts): 5/10 points 3. Self-study (research of values): 12/20 points 4. Self-study (writing the text of recommendations): 10/15 points 5. Final test in writing - 12/20 points Final assessment in the form of credit: the final number of points in the course (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. Credit is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment activities.
