2. To analyze, comment and summarize scientific and analytical texts of culturological format. 4. To know and understand theoretical approaches to definition of culture, its manifestations and forms of existence. 7. To understand the factors of cultural dynamics, the principles of periodization of cultural processes, their specific features and characteristics. 14. To conduct a public discussion and maintain a dialogue on Ukrainian culture with professionals and non-specialists.

1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and specifics of the national and world historical and cultural process; classical and modern cultural theories and methods of research, in particular philosophies of culture, their main concepts and categories. 2. To be able to find and interpret information about cultural phenomena, processes and events in Ukrainian scientific, cultural and socio-political life, to apply the categories of cultural sciences in the cultural study of Ukrainian issues. 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude towards and forecasting of political, cultural, artistic and other events and phenomena; the use of foreign-language professional cultural-philosophical and cultural sources.

Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of domestic culturologists from universities, scientific circles and societies of the 19th century. - beginning 21st century: stages of research, leading developers and achievements Topic 2. Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of the amateur-proto-academic stage: the 19th century. - 10th years of the XX century. Topic 3. Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of the theoretical and ideological stage: Kin. 10s - 80s of the XX century. Topic 4. Ukrainian studies problems in the studios of the fundamental stage: 90s of the 20th century. – 20s of the XXI century. Topic 5. Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of domestic academic scientists of the 19th century. - beginning 21st century: stages of research, leading developers and achievements Topic 6. Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of scientists of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences: 1918-1921. Theme 7. . Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of scientists of the All-Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in Kyiv: 1921 - 1936. Topic 8. Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (USSR): 1936 - 1991 Topic 9. Ukrainian studies issues in the studios of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine: 1991 - 20s of the XX century.
