Learning outcomes
5. Collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events and historical and cultural processes. 6. Identify, verify and summarize information about various contexts of cultural practice, determine the degree of their relevance using relevant sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies. 8. Interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and defined methods, present reasoned conclusions about their content. 10. Recognize and classify different types of cultural products, determine their quality characteristics based on comprehensive analysis. 11. To carry out an expert assessment of cultural objects according to the specified criteria and to provide recommendations on their social actualization. 12. To substantiate, develop and implement cultural events and projects in compliance with the legislation and in accordance with the defined goals and objectives.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; stages and specifics of the development of the artistic sphere, have basic knowledge from the courses "Aesthetics", "History of World Culture", "History of Ukrainian Culture and Philosophy", "Cultural Institutes and Cultural Policy", "Sociology of Culture and Art". 2. To be able, on the basis of the knowledge gained as part of the training, to orientate in the main stages and specifics of the content of exhibition activities, the history of the formation of museums and leading fairs and biennials, to analyze the main principles of building exhibitions and determine their features, to be able to create own exhibition projects and clearly navigate in the main stages of their formation. 3. To have elementary skills of analysis of various stages of formation of exhibition and exposition practices.
Course content
1. The history of museum practice. 2. The Venice Biennale: features of its functioning from 1895 to the present day. 3. Commercial fairs and conceptual exhibitions of modernity. 4. Museum expositions: principles of organization. 5. Classification of art exhibitions and their features. 6. Practical basics of organizing exhibitions. 7. Ukrainian exhibition projects: analysis of the main principles of implementation. Part 2. Practice of the museum and exhibition sphere and exposition activity. 8. The current state of the art market in the conditions of globalization. The specifics of the functioning of cultural institutions in the contemporary art space. 9. Curation and art management: the main forms of activity in exposition and exhibition practices. 10. Creation, structuring and development strategies of art organizations in the field of culture. 11. Cultural mission and strategic motive as necessary prerequisites for the implementation of successful exhibition projects.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars: 24 / 42 points 2. Self-study (research of a work of art): 24 / 38 points 3. Test work: 12 / 20 points Final assessment in the form of a credit: the final evaluation for the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for the semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the final test (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
