Learning outcomes
1. To have critical thinking skills, to express one's own thoughts in a clear way, to argue them.
2. Analyze, comment, summarize, scientific and analytical texts of a cultural nature.
3. Create logically and structurally organized texts on cultural studies, according to specialization.
5. Collect, organize and analyze information on cultural phenomena, events and historical and cultural processes
7. Understand the factors of cultural dynamics, principles of periodization of cultural processes, their specific features and characteristics
8. Interpret cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and certain methods, reasonably state conclusions about their content
14. To conduct a public discussion and maintain a dialogue on Ukrainian culture with specialists and non-specialists.
15. Communicate fluently on professional issues orally and in writing in the state and foreign languages.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before writing the course paper on Ukrainian culture, students must know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; basic culturological concepts and categories.
2. Be able to collect and interpret information on cultural phenomena, cultural processes and events; apply basic terms and categories in the analysis of socio-cultural phenomena and processes.
3. Have basic skills in research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting in relation to political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena.
Course content
The course work on the history of Ukrainian culture is an integral part of the educational process and is designed to integrate scientific, educational and industrial factors in the educational process. While preparing the course work on the history of Ukrainian culture and during its public defense, students must demonstrate the acquired knowledge, skills and practical skills, ways of thinking, professional, ideological and civic qualities.Thecourse work on the history of Ukrainian culture involves solving a specialized problem or practical problems of Ukrainian culture. In the process of course work on the history of Ukrainian culture, the student develops the ability to think critically, generate new knowledge, self-righteous work, organization and implementation of research activities in the field of culture. Public defense provides the experience needed for further work in professional field.
