To create logically and structurally organized texts on cultural studies, according to the specialization. 15. To communicate freely on professional issues orally and in writing in the official and foreign languages, taking into account the purpose of communication and social and cultural features of its context.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the foreign language program for general education institutions of Ukraine and a sufficient level of formation of foreign language communication skills competence in accordance with the State Standard of basic and comprehensive secondary education and Pan-European recommendations on language education.
Course content
The main tasks (goals) of the discipline are to raise the general level foreign language proficiency; formation of skills in the use of special terminology in the field of professional interests, as well as the development of foreign language situation-oriented communication skills in all types of speech activity, which requires knowledge phonological, lexical and grammatical regularities of the language as a system; possession literary and scientific norms of a foreign language; ability to choose and use appropriate language means for producing different texts (lectures, reports, reports, etc.). types; activation, expansion, and differentiation of vocabulary (in general humanitarian and general scientific vocabulary). The final result of studying the discipline is the acquisition of universal skills and the ability of professional foreign language activities.

Assessment by forms of control under the conditions of intermediate control and credit: 1) Work in class (fulfillment of tasks for speaking, reading, writing, listening) - 16 points / 10 points in each module 2) Writing short vocabulary and grammar tests - 7 points / 4 points each modules 3) Writing an essay (1 per module) – 5 points / 3 points per module 4) Presentation (1 per module) – 5 points / 3 points per module 5) Final written tests (1 per module) – 7 points / 4 points per module Evaluation based on the exam 1) Work in class (fulfillment of tasks for speaking, reading, writing, listening) - 24 points / 12 points in each module 2) Writing short vocabulary and grammar tests - 6 points / 3 points each modules 3) Essay writing (2 per module) – 6 points / 3 points per module 4) Presentation (1 per module) – 6 points / 3 points per module 5) Final written tests (2 per module) – 12 points / 6 points per module
