To know and possess theoretical knowledge about: 1.1 Conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline "Methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property" 1.2 Methods, methodology and methodology of science in the system of organizing research activities 1.3 Basic principles, foundations and stages of writing a qualifying scientific work 1.4. The main objectives of the subject and the specifics of the legislation on the protection of intellectual property rights. Be able to: 2.1 Select, systematize and analyze information related to the methodology and organization of scientific research with the basics of intellectual property 2.2. Apply general scientific and special methods of scientific research in the process of writing a qualifying scientific work 2.3 Form the structure of scientific work 2.4 Formulate an analytical component in the introduction, conclusions to chapters and general conclusions

Know the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the academic discipline "Fundamentals of Scientific Research". Be able to work with sources that set out the basic principles of the discipline "Fundamentals of Scientific Research" and key domestic and international legal acts. Possess the skills to conduct effective scientific research presented in the process of writing term papers
Course content
Topic 1. Science and scientific research in the modern world. 2. Methodology, methodology and methods of scientific research. Leading methodological concepts. 3. Place and role of scientific research in analytical and expert activities. Search and processing of scientific information Topic 4. Qualification work: preparation, design and defense. Methods of preparation and design of publications. The concept of academic virtue. 5. The concept and system of intellectual property law. Industrial property law. Copyright and related rights. Topic 6. Protection of rights to objects of intellectual property in the process of scientific activity: basics. Topic 7. Foundations of academic virtue

Assessment methods and criteria
All types of work in the semester result in: * in the maximum dimension - 80 (55+25) points * in the minimum dimension - 48 (23+15) points The final test control work (test) is a written answer to 20 closed test questions for all three parts of the course. The maximum score for this work is 20 points, the minimum is 12 points.
