Learning outcomes
To know the philosophical, sociological and political approaches to the analysis of the phenomenon and content of the concept of political ideology. Be able to diagnose ideological influences in Ukrainian political and social processes and their impact on public administration and democratic governance from the point of view of the quality of preparation and implementation of decisions and national security. autonomy and responsibility: demonstrate an understanding of personal responsibility for the organization of democratic management and governance processes, including responsibility for effective interaction with civil society in these processes, in particular by analyzing and evaluating ideological influences

Know: the basic principles of the organization of state power and management in Ukraine, the basics of regulatory and legal support for the activities of public authorities; basic philosophical, sociological and political concepts.
2. To be able to use analytical and statistical methods of processing information about the socio-economic development of the country, territorial units, the results of the activities of public authorities, work with the results of sociological surveys, national and international databases, publications, etc.
3. To have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, sociological and other data, working with the regulatory and legal framework.
Course content
Content of the educational program
1. Political ideologies as a phenomenon of modernity. The development of ideologies in the 19th and 20th centuries as a result and stimulus for the democratic process.
2. Spectrum of ideologies. Liberalism, conservatism, socialism, nationalism, populism. Deep and shallow ideologies. Criticism of ideologies.
3. Morphology of ideologies. Ideologies as a social phenomenon and mental maps.
4. Morphology of ideologies in Ukrainian political history. Peculiarities of using ideologies as a tool for organizing political coalitions. Ideology as a unified identity.
5. Political conflicts in the ideological dimension as a matter of national security. The Ukrainian-Russian war in terms of ideologies. The role of public administration.

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment
Semester assessment: assessment is carried out by means of a final survey, assessment of independent tasks (Min. - 48 points, Max. - 80 points). Final assessment in the form of credit: the maximum number of points on the credit - 20 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester - 12 points (60% of the maximum number of points allotted for credit). The credit score cannot be less than 12 points to receive an overall positive score for the course. 7.2. Compliance scale
