Learning outcomes Know and understand: the main categories and concepts of public management and administration basic research methods in public management and administration Stages of formation and development of public management and administration as a social phenomenon and as a science. To be able to: identify the main social problems, the solution of which is aimed at public management and administration Adequately analyze events and processes in society, management decisions, their causes. Autonomy and responsibility: take responsibility for the reliability of conducted research and make creative decisions in problematic situations, in particular, regarding the choice of research methods, objectivity of analysis and evaluation of policy and management decisions.

Prerequisites and additional requirements To know the essence of the sphere of public management and administration, about public organizations as components of its primary link, the ways of creating a public organization and the stages of its development; To be able to determine priorities in the profession, the main goals of activity in the public sphere, to determine the general competence of public authorities, the expediency of applying certain organizational - legal forms of the organization in a specific case of public activity; have the skills to work with various sources of information, use the survey method; analysis of situations, events, processes in the public sphere, "state-citizen-society" interaction.

Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.5), which makes up 40% of the total grade for the semester, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1 - 2.3; communication 3.1 – 3.2; autonomy 4.1), which is 60% of the total grade for the semester. – semester assessment (MAX – 100 points / MIN – 60 points). The final control is carried out in the form of an exam, which is evaluated at a maximum of 40 points. The final grade for the discipline is assigned to the student based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points received during the academic semester, including points received for independent work and the exam.
