to be able to: Assess the prerequisites and trends of the formation of global governance as a factor in ensuring the stability of international relations; Identify the determinants of geopolitical interests in the geopolitical strategies of states; To be responsible for the credibility and political-ideological non-involvement when conducting research on the security component of the foreign policy of states

Prerequisites and additional requirements
1. Before starting the study of the discipline, students should know: the conceptual principles of the formation of the national security system; tasks, structure, subjects and prerequisites for the effectiveness of the specified system; the evolution of ideas about the essence of national security as a social phenomenon, its types and components.
2. Be able to: identify factors that allow classifying national interests in the foreign policy sphere of the state's vital activities; evaluate social phenomena that are denoted by the concepts of "threat", "challenge" and "risk" when making management decisions regarding the security component of foreign policy; apply the main categories, concepts (terms) when determining the priorities of the specified policy in the context of modern processes of globalization.
3. Possess elementary skills: system analysis during research geopolitical and geoeconomic dimensions of globalization processes.

Methods and criteria of assessment
Assessment of semester work:
1. Oral presentation, additions and participation in discussions at seminars - 36 / 60 points.
2. An individual independent work (essay) is devoted to the determinants of safety
a component of the foreign policy of states - 12 / 20 points.
Final evaluation in the form of credit:
The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the points obtained from the results of the assessment (oral or written).
Thus, the final grade for the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for the semester's work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the number of points obtained during the assessment (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
