Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes To know the theoretical foundations of the emergence of monopolies, their essence and main types. The essence and conditions of existence of competition; legal characteristics of instruments of state regulation in the sphere of monopoly limitation, prevention of unfair competition, natural monopolies Be able to: apply appropriate norms of current legislation when solving tasks aimed at the development of competition; analyze and solve legal problems related to the protection of competition; to use the toolkit of state assessment and protection of economic competition - The ability to organize information and analytical support for management processes of antimonopoly regulation - Ability to carry out professional activities taking into account needs ensuring a competitive environment autonomy and responsibility: - Independent performance of the task, solving tasks and problems in the field of competitive (antimonopoly) policy

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. To know: the theoretical foundations of the emergence of monopolies, their essence and main types; legal characteristics of state regulatory instruments in the sphere of limiting monopoly, preventing unfair competition, natural monopolies; principles of implementation of antimonopoly policy; 2.Be able to: apply relevant norms of current legislation when making decisions tasks aimed at the development of competition; analyze and solve legal problems related to the protection of competition; 3. Possess: the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, economic and other data, working with the legal framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.); to possess and apply tools for conducting a dialogue regarding the determination of promising directions for ensuring fair competition with various participants in the antimonopoly regulation process.

Planned educational activities and teaching methods Lectures, practical classes, seminars classes, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Methods and criteria of assessment – semester evaluation (MAX – 60 points / MIN – 36 points): 1. Oral survey, discussion – 6 points / 4 points; 2. Modular control work (2 MKR, 5 points max. each) – 10 points / 6 points; 3. Individual analytical task) – 20 points / 12 points 4. Independent work – 24 points / 14 points; – final evaluation (MAX – 40 points / MIN – 24 points): in the form of the final assessment is an exam. The form of the exam is written work with tasks of various levels of complexity. Learning outcomes are assessed in written work. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student during the exam is 40 points. The maximum number of points a student can receive is 100 points.
