Learning outcomes To know: sociological, economic and political approaches to the analysis of the phenomenon and content of the concepts of state, power, social order and economic development; key theoretical results defining public management and regulation in the economy as a factor of social changes and economic development reveal the connection between political and economic processes Be able to: diagnose problems restraining social order economic development and propose ways and means of institutional changes in order to overcome them on the basis European and world experience; autonomy and responsibility: demonstrate an understanding of personal responsibility for the organization of public management and regulation processes in economy, including responsibility for effective interaction with business and civil society in these processes, in particular by analyzing and evaluating institutional changes

Prerequisites and additional requirements 1. To know: the basic principles of the organization of state power and management in Ukraine, the foundations of regulatory and legal support for the activities of public authorities; 2.Be able to use analytical and statistical methods of processing information on the socio-economic development of the country, territorial units, the results of the activities of public authorities, work with the results of sociological surveys, national and international databases, publications in the media as sources information about measures of state regulation of the economy and its results. 3. To have the skills of analysis, synthesis, processing and visualization of statistical, sociological and other data, work with the legal framework, design and presentation of data using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).

Methods and criteria of assessment Semester evaluation: carried out during the semester of all types of work, including surveys, independent work, performance and presentation of an individual analytical task. 1. Module 1: survey, performance of independent tasks, modular control work (Min. - 12 points, Max. - 20 points). 2. Module 2: survey, performance of independent tasks, modular control work (Min. – 12 points, Max.-20 points). 3. Execution and presentation of an individual analytical task (Min. – 12 points, Max. – 20 points). 4. Exam - 40 points
