"The Folklore and Mass Culture program requires successful completion of the following courses: "Oral Folk Art", "Folklore of Media Space and Social Networks", "Subjective and Figurative System of Folklore", "Poetics of Folklore".

The purpose of the discipline "Folklore and Mass Culture" is to develop students' knowledge of the problems of the relationship between folklore and mass culture, their special properties of mutual influence, functional load, methods and conditions of functioning.

Lectures, seminars, workshops, and control in the form of module work are held. Independent work is also expected.

The number of semester points is based on the points obtained by the student in the process of mastering the material on all topics of the four content modules, the student's activity in class, and the completeness of oral answers to questions. The maximum number of points that a student can receive in case of diligent work in seminars and successful completion of all current tests is 60 points. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written exam. The maximum score is 40 points.
