Course content
The main objective of the course is to develop skills in creating texts in the German language. The course has a practical focus, with minimal lecture elements. The main emphasis is on shared reading and analysis of sample texts, studying typical compositional and stylistic features of texts, and their practical application (in class and at home). An important didactic element is the joint assessment of written texts. Frequently recurring stylistic inaccuracies, textual and normative errors, and shortcomings in text composition should be discussed and, if possible, addressed in specific exercises. The written exercises in class aim to help students develop writing skills from a cognitive and psychological perspective.
