PLO11. Carry out scientific analysis of linguistic and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PLO17. Plan, organize, implement and present scientific theoretical and applied research in the field of Turkish philology. PLO18. Present the results of their research to the scientific community in scientific publications or speeches at conferences, round tables, seminars, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students should have basic knowledge of science and scientific research, the evolution of science as a field of human activity, its content and functions in society; general scientific methods of scientific research, know the basic principles of academic integrity, have basic knowledge of the nature and main stages of research organization, understand the role of information in scientific research and the classification of scientific documents. Ability to evaluate and draw conclusions from the theoretical material, analyze and identify current processes and trends in the field of philological research. Be able to give a preliminary assessment of intermediate research results.
Course content
The purpose of teaching the discipline "Methodology of Scientific Research in Turkish Language and Literature" is to master the theoretical, methodological and methodological principles of scientific research, to form students' methodological and scientific culture, to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities to conduct philological research, to master knowledge of the process of scientific cognition, skills of scientific research in the field of philology, to gain theoretical and practical experience in systematizing the acquired knowledge and to develop skills to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of philology.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The discipline focuses on the development of future research philologists' competencies in the field of scientific research. During the course of study, the subject and tasks of the methodology of philological research are studied; knowledge of the history of the main directions of philological research in Ukraine and Turkey is systematized; the theoretical foundations of traditional and modern methodologies of philological research are worked out; the discipline is aimed at developing skills of effective work with domestic and foreign scientific sources, studying methods, principles and techniques of philological research in scientific practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 60% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills); (communication); (autonomy and responsibility), which accounts for 40% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral response in seminar classes: 7 - 14 points. 2. Presentation: 9 - 15 points. 3. Module test №1: 10 - 16 points. 4. Independent work with Internet resources: 20 - 35 points. 5. Module test №2: 14 - 20 points. 6. Test: 12 - 20 points.
