PLO20. To master the basic methodological methods of teaching translation from Turkish into Ukrainian and vice versa in higher education.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- mastery of the basic provisions of the theory and practice of translation, psychology, pedagogy and methods of teaching foreign languages and translation; - mastery of the basic categories of the scientific apparatus of translation theory and practice, psychology, pedagogy and methods of teaching foreign languages and translation; - acquaintance with the basic and professionally oriented foundations of philology, history, sociology and cultural studies.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to develop theoretical knowledge of higher education students on the methodology of teaching translation in higher education as a branch of pedagogical science, to study modern principles of organising the educational process in the training of future translators, patterns and features of the process of teaching translation in higher education, goals, content, methods and means of teaching; to develop skills in conducting methodologically correct translation classes in higher education institutions, as well as methods, techniques and means of teaching translation. The content of this discipline, firstly, provides future specialists with knowledge of the strategic directions of development of modern higher foreign language education, modern methods and technologies of teaching translation, secondly, encourages higher education students to be creative in the process of theoretical and practical study, and thirdly, enables them to expand the field of activity of future translation teachers by applying the acquired knowledge and skills.

Work in practical classes (oral response, work with text corpora, essays, reports), creative and research tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: Module I: 1. Work in practical classes: 3 - 5 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 9 - 15 points. 3. Module test №1: 6 - 10 points. Module II: 1. Work in practical classes: 3 - 5 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 6 - 10 points. 3. Module test #2: 9 - 15 points. 4. Exam: 24/40 points.
