Learning outcomes
PLO 5. To find the best ways of effective interaction in a professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. PLO 22. To conduct classes, provide consultations to students in the disciplines in the specialty 035.068 "Philology (Oriental Languages and Literatures (translation inclusive), the first - Turkish", as well as to provide individual student support (mentoring, mentoring) during training, using modern innovative methods and technologies of teaching in higher education. PLO23. Carry out objective assessment of learning outcomes (certification) and provide recommendations for improving learning outcomes. PLO25. To use specialized psychological knowledge in the organization of the main activities in a higher education institution, to apply psychological methods of optimizing the educational process.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "General Psychology", "Educational Psychology", "Age Psychology". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the structure of the psyche, factors and basic mechanisms of personality formation; 3. Possession of skills and abilities to analyze scientific literature, prepare essays, presentations, and conduct discussions.
Course content
The discipline "Psychology of Higher Education" is included in the list of compulsory educational components of the major "Oriental Philology, Western European Language and Translation: Turkish Language and Literature". Its subject is the psychological foundations of the educational process and pedagogical interaction in higher education institutions, psychological mechanisms of the formation of a professional's personality. The course content covers theoretical and methodological foundations and conceptual and categorical apparatus, peculiarities of the student as a subject of educational and professional activity, adaptation to studying at a university; peculiarities of student group development, psychological aspects of the university teacher's activity, psychological regularities of pedagogical interaction between the teacher and the student.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 30% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer: 9 - 15 points. 2. Additions, participation in the discussion: 2 - 4 points. 3. Control work №1 with open answers: 5 - 12 points. 4. Creative task (essay, mini-project): 10 - 14 points. 5. Control work No. 2 (final) in the form of tests: 10 - 15 points.
