PLO6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres in Crimean Tatar, English and Turkish. PLO12. Adhere to the rules of academic integrity. PLO22. Analyze and apply the language tools necessary to provide lexical and stylistic analysis of texts in the ancient Crimean Tatar language.

1. Familiarization with the linguistic identity and culture of the Crimean Tatars. 2. Knowledge of the history and culture of other peoples of Ukraine. 3. Possess elementary skills of writing and listening comprehension.
Course content
The course "Fundamentals of Philological Interpretation of Texts in the Ancient Crimean Tatar Language" introduces students to such fundamental principles as the development of the material and spiritual culture of Turkic peoples through linguistic and stylistic analysis of written texts. The first part of the course focuses on the history, formation and development of the ancient Crimean Tatar language. In the second part of the course, attention is focused on the culture of the ancient Turks, as well as representatives of other cultures of the East, and its reflection in the Crimean Tatar language and writing.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: Creative tasks: 12 - 18 points. Work with dictionaries, text corpora from the Internet: 8 - 12 points. Written work: 12 - 20 points. Research paper: 8 - 20 points. Module test (written work): 20 - 30 points. Credit: 12 - 20 points.
