Learning outcomes
PLO2. Confidently speak the state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in the state and foreign languages. PLO6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres into the Crimean Tatar language. PLO14. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: - basic provisions, categories of the scientific apparatus of the general theory of translation, ways to achieve adequate translation and basic models of translation activity; - phonetic laws, grammatical constructions, and syntax rules of the Crimean Tatar language. Be able to: - Apply the acquired knowledge in practice. To have: - basic skills of oral and written translation.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to develop and improve practical skills in written and oral consecutive bilateral translation, written and oral abstracting in Ukrainian/Crimean Tatar, oral translation from a letter, oral/written annotation. The discipline "Interpreting and Translation" forms professional skills in translation from and into the Crimean Tatar language on the basis of previously acquired theoretical knowledge, as well as fosters the need to systematically update their knowledge and creatively apply it in practical activities in the field of their future profession. Particular attention is paid to the peculiarities of written translation of texts of journalistic, fiction and popular science styles of speech and consecutive interpretation of radio and television texts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: I semester: 1. Work in practical classes: 15 - 30 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 15 - 30 points. 3. Module work №1: 8 - 10 points. 4. Module work # 2: 8 - 10 points. 5. Final control work: 14 - 20 points.
