PRN2. Confident knowledge of state and foreign (Croatian) languages ​​for implementation written and oral communication, in particular in professional and scientific situations communication; to present research results in state and foreign languages. PRN11. Carry out scientific analysis of the Slavic language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account the classical and the latest methodological principles, to formulate generalizations on the basis of independently processed data. PRN15. Choose the best research approaches and methods for the analysis of the specific Slavic linguistic or literary material.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the processes of development and interdependence of current problems of Ukrainian and foreign cultures, the specifics of the formation of the Ukrainian literary process from antiquity to modernity, scientific approaches to the periodization of the history of Ukrainian literature, views contemporary domestic and foreign critics of literary genres, figures and magazines; possess basic theoretical knowledge of oral folk art, ancient Ukrainian literature: the Middle Ages and Baroque, the history of Ukrainian literature of the eighteenth century., history of Ukrainian literature of the first and second half of the XIX, history of Ukrainian literature of the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century, to be guided in modern approaches to the analysis literary works.
Course content
The discipline belongs to the research component of OP. Its purpose - to systematize students' knowledge about the development of Ukrainian literature in European context and influence of the East Slavic cultural and educational space on it, to form an idea of ​​the research potential of aspects of the discipline based on specific artistic texts and literary-critical reviews about them. The subject provides information about philosophical, psychological, literary concepts of reflection of life realities in artistic reality, focuses on the evolution of the author's consciousness, originality artistic forms of its explication; allows you to determine the criteria and methods of analysis of the latest Ukrainian literary texts in terms of modern criticism; forms a scientific worldview, focused on the latest theories of knowledge about the literary text, its artistic and aesthetic value in intercultural and literary relations.
