Learning outcomes
PRN4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant Slavic problems and suggest ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions that require the application of new approaches and forecasting. PRN11. Carry out scientific analysis of the Slavic language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account the classical and the latest methodological principles, to formulate generalizations on the basis of independently processed data.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before studying this course, students should know basic information about the history of the Czech Republic, traditional Czech culture, literature, have basic factual knowledge humanitarian nature. Be able to read and summarize professional sources in the Czech language, collect and interpret information on phenomena and phenomena of traditional culture, its artifacts, plan and evaluate their own work; use interactive and multimedia tools. Have the skills of research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional information sources; work with culturological texts; production of complex oral and written messages in Czech; interaction and cooperation in learning in search situations.
Course content
To form a system of knowledge about universal values in applicants for higher education and national priorities, patterns of cultural process, the culture of the Czech Republic as a specific and unique phenomenon of humanity; consider history and culture in development, unity and contradictions of various processes and trends, reveal the essence and features of Czech culture as a component of the European cultural space, to determine the contribution of the national achievements of the Czech Republic to the world's universal treasury.

Lectures and seminars, independent work, individual consultations. Forms training: oral answer, report with presentation, individual work, final control work.
Assessment methods and criteria
- current control (testing, oral and written interview); - preparation of presentations by students - final control: exam. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the applicant of higher education during the semester, and the scores obtained in the exam, the maximum distribution is carried out by such algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam).
