Learning outcomes
PRN4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant Slavic problems and propose ways to solve them in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PRN11. Carry out a scientific analysis of Slavic language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account classical and modern methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PRN18. Present the results of your research to the scientific community in scientific publications or speeches at conferences, round tables, seminars, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting this course, students should know basic information about the history of the Czech Republic, traditional Czech culture, literature, and basic factual knowledge of a humanitarian nature. - Be able to read and summarize professional sources in Czech, collect and interpret information about phenomena and phenomena of traditional culture, its artifacts; plan and evaluate own work; use interactive and multimedia tools. - Possess the skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analyzed phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources; works with cultural texts; production of complex oral and written messages in the Czech language; interaction and cooperation in learning in exploratory situations.
Course content
To form among the students of higher education a system of knowledge about universal human values ​​and national priorities, regularities of the cultural process, Czech culture as a specific and unique phenomenon of humanity; to consider history and culture in the development, unity and contradictions of various processes and trends, to reveal the essence and peculiarities of Czech culture as a component of the European cultural space, to determine the contribution of the national achievements of the Czech Republic to the global treasury.

Lectures and seminars, independent work, individual consultations. Forms of learning: oral answer, report with presentation, individual work, final control work.
Assessment methods and criteria
- current control (testing, oral and written survey); - preparation of presentations by students - final control: exam. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student of higher education during the semester and the points received on the exam, the maximum distribution is carried out according to the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam).
