Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Confident knowledge of state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of research in state and foreign languages.
PLO 5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels.
PLO 6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of speech and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and the organization of successful communication.
PLO 20.2 Application of knowledge of Chinese lexicographic tradition, typology and specifics of using various lexicographic sources. PLO 21.2 Demonstrate in-depth practical command of the Chinese language at the level necessary for carrying out research activities.

1. successful completion of courses: "Speech culture: academic and business discourse", "Communicative strategies of the Chinese language", etc.
2. mastering the practice of translating Chinese text, professional communication skills in Chinese.
Course content
The goal of the educational discipline is complex, including practical (communicative) and educational. The communicative goal is achieved by forming the necessary language and speech skills in students in four main types of speech activity - listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation.
The study discipline "Chinese Language: Practical Course" is a mandatory component of the elective block "Chinese Studies: Linguistic Studies" and is taught in the 3rd semester in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and professional program "Oriental Philology, Western European Language and Translation: Chinese Language and Literature". The discipline provides theoretical and practical material that forms sociocultural and sociolinguistic competencies (rules of politeness, norms that regulate relations between generations, classes and social groups, linguistic modifications of some basic rituals in the life of society).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.4), which makes up 40% of the total assessment, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.3); (communication 3.1); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.2), which is 60% of the total grade. Evaluation of the semester work is carried out in the following forms: oral response at the seminar class, additions, participation in the discussion, blitz survey, control work with open answers, preparation and defense of the presentation.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which includes the unsupervised work as well on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (presentation preparation). All types of work for the semester have as a result:In case of the credit:
- in the maximum dimension of 100 points,
- a minimum of 60 points.
In case of absence from the seminar session, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar.
