Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful performance in this course builds on knowledge students are expected to possess: essential knowledge of normative legal documents that regulate educational process in a secondary school; modern approaches to teaching languages and literatures based on modern international and national experience; possess fluent skills of state language. The course prerequisites also emphasize skills and the ability to: plan, organize (team work) in a secondary school, manage learners’ cognitive activity, master acquired qualification.
Course content
This course aims to foster learners’ personal and professional development, forming digital competence and acquiring methodological knowledge and skills of creating and providing IT support to the educational process of a higher secondary school.
The discipline ensures the personal and professional development of the master's student and is aimed at the developing students' professional digital competence and relevant methodological knowledge and skills in developing and using information technologies in the educational process of a high profiled school. The content of the discipline consists of methodological concepts and categories, goals, content, approaches, principles, methods and techniques of using information technology, organizational forms of teaching languages and literatures in high school, methods of developing and using information educational support for the process of learning languages and literatures for students of a high profiled school.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The discipline combines lectures, practical sessions, and independent learning. Teaching methods: academic discussion, multimedia based learning, project work, academic conversation.
Assessment methods and criteria
The total score is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral answers, additions and participation in discussions at lectures and seminars, test with closed answers), for independent creative work (essay, review, presentation) and final test. All types of work for the semester have as a result:
● in the maximum dimension of 100 points,
● a minimum of 60 points.
In case of absence from the practical session, the student must complete the task for the practical session in written form.
Summative assessment is delivered in the form of tests: LR 1.1-1.5; LR 2.1-2.3; LR 4.2,4.4-4.5 – 20/12 points.
