PLO 3. To apply modern methods and techniques, namely informational, in order to perform successful and effective professional activity and guarantee the quality of research in a specific linguistic field. PLO 6. To use knowledge on expressive, emotive, logical language means and speech techniques in order to achieve an intended pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 14. To create, analyze, and edit texts of various genres and styles. PLO 15. To choose optimal research approaches and methods of analysis for the specific language and literary material. PLO 22. To analyze, design, and give reasons for translation decisions, decisions on the choice of translation tools and methods of quality assurance in specialized translation.

Acquired theoretical knowledge of research methodology, history and theory of translation, the basics of literary and branch editing of translations, communicative strategies of the Spanish language and the ability to apply them to solve professional problems
Course content
The purpose of the lecture part of the course is to acquaint students with the theoretical and methodological principles of comparative stylistic evaluation of Spanish and Ukrainian language units, functional and individual styles, as well as stylistic analysis of Spanish and Ukrainian texts.The purpose of the practical classes is the formation of students abilities and skills in the stylistic evaluation of units of the Spanish and Ukrainian languages, the identification of signs of their stylistic affiliation and degree of expressiveness in Spanish and Ukrainian texts, a complex stylistic analysis of the text, the determination of its genre-stylistic dominance and specific features, as well as the identification signs of individual style of original and translated texts.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Activities: organizing the search and evaluation of information necessary for the comparative stylistic evaluation of units of the Spanish and Ukrainian languages, presentation of reports, their discussion and summarization of the discussion. Methods: general methods of conducting lectures and practical classes, control survey, interactive method, discussions.
Assessment methods and criteria
Comprehensive assessment of attendance and activity in classes, homework, results of independent work, reports; evaluation criteria – completeness of presentation of the topic, fluency in the subject, reasoned answers to questions. Attendance and activity in classes 0.6 - 1 (9 - 15 per semester); homework 1.2-2 (6-10 per semester); notes of 2 articles 1,2 - 2 (2,4 - 4 per semester); preparation and presentation of 4 reports 2.4 - 4 (9.6 - 16 per semester); comparative study of stylistic marking of lexical units in Spanish and Ukrainian languages ​​9-15 points.
