Learning outcomes
PLO 1. To assess individual academic and professional activity, to build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement.
PLO 8. To assess the historical legacy and new achievements of Literature Studies.
PLO 9. To characterize theoretical principles (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of the chosen linguistic specialization.
PLO 13. To explain the essence of both specific linguistic issues and one’s own point of view and its justification to experts and laypeople in an accessible and argumentative manner, in particular to individuals who are studying.
PLO 15. To choose optimal research approaches and methods of analysis for the specific language and literary material.

Course content
The subject of the study of the discipline is the process of teaching translation as a specialty and its constituent components, the methodological toolkit involved in the process of forming the necessary professional competencies of bilingual translation activity, as well as the issues of organizational support for the training of qualified translators in institutions of higher education.
