PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English and German / French / Spanish / Italian / Portuguese), in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of oral and written texts of different genres and styles creation in Ukrainian and other foreign languages (French and English). Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational discipline is one of the key components of the comprehensive training of bachelors and is the logical basis of the discipline "Practical Italian Language Course". The student must be able to communicate in Italian at the B1-B2 level; know basic linguistic concepts; principles of language material analysis; peculiarities of semantics, structure and functioning of units of all levels of the Italian language; and be able to apply linguistic tools in practice; to have the skills of information selection, selection, analysis and interpretation of speech facts.
Course content
The "Language for Specific Purposes " course is completely practical, and its task is to deepen and systematize the students' knowledge acquired during the previous Italian language courses. Practical classes involve the study of grammatical topics necessary for mastering the Italian language at the B2-C1 level, as well as exercises for the perception of texts (written and listening) and the development of coherent speech. The course lasts two semesters and ends with an exam. Purpose of the course: With the help of practical exercises, develop and consolidate the skills of optimal use of a foreign language in various communicative situations, for example: creating a written text, creating an oral text, understanding a written text, understanding an oral text.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Practical classes, exercises, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The material is reviewed and consolidated in practical classes, in accordance with the provisions of clause 7.1 of the programme. During each of the semesters, two modular tests are held. After the first semester, an intermediate control is issued. The discipline ends with an exam. The final grade is formed by the points obtained by the student in the process of performing the indicated types and forms of education and obtained on the exam. The maximum distribution is carried out as follows: 60 points - during the semester and 40 points (20%) - the exam. If a student scored less than 24 points on the exam, they are not added to the semester grade, regardless of the number of points received during the semester, and only the number of points received during the semester is indicated in the column "final grade in the discipline" in the examination report.
