Possess a basic level of French, mastering the course "French Language" (1-3 semesters).
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to develop students' communicative French-language skills for use in solving professional problems and in everyday life; to develop their oral and written communication skills.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides for the following forms of learning organization: practical classes conducted using interactive teaching methods and individual work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: classroom work, answers in practical classes, presentations, module tests with open answers. Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, including theoretical training, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. The semester grade is formed by the points received by the student for classroom work and for individual work. The evaluation criteria are presented in the discipline's work program, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
