            Course content

The aim of the discipline is to develop English communicative competence in students, comprising a combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for effective intercultural communication in both oral and written forms. The course also involves the study of the patterns of the emergence, functioning, and development of the English language. Teaching is based on the fundamental principles of the communicative approach to foreign language learning, incorporating authentic materials and modeling real communicative situations. The communicative principle is defined as prioritizing communicative goals within the four types of speech activities, with the secondary role assigned to language and thematic material as the foundation for further development of communication skills.
