Course content
The course belongs to the mandatory educational components. It occupies a central place in the natural science training of a philologist and cultural expert, integrating the knowledge of all natural disciplines into the humanitarian sphere. The teaching of this discipline is aimed at students' theoretical mastery of the basics of ecology, environmental protection and balanced nature management and the ability to use the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities for ecological management of all the diversity of technological and social systems.

Assessment methods and criteria
The final grade from the educational component, the final form of control for which credit is established, is defined as the sum of grades (points) for all successfully assessed learning outcomes. Scores below the minimum threshold level are not added to the final score. Mandatory to receive a positive final grade (60 points and above and "passed") is writing test papers. It is not allowed to retake the semester control in order to improve a positive grade.
