PLO 4. Know and understand theoretical approaches to the definition of culture, its manifestations and forms of existence.
PLO 6. Identify, verify and summarize information about various contexts of cultural practice, determine the degree of their relevance using relevant sources, information, communication tools and visual technologies.
PLO 8. Interpret ethno-cultural sources (material, printed, visual, artistic) using special literature and defined methods, present reasoned conclusions about their content.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting the study of this discipline, students must know
- socio-historical conditions of the development of Ukrainian literature, in particular poetry, prose, drama in the ethnocultural context;
- peculiarities of the coexistence of different stylistic trends in the contemporary Ukrainian literary discourse: modernism, postmodernism, avant-gardeism, surrealism, "magical realism", etc.;
- the latest literary concepts, to be oriented in them, freely operate with them during the analysis of artistic works;
Be able to work with various sources of educational and scientific information, process them, identify literary phenomena, collect, systematize, describe and analyze the researched material, navigate in modern scientific and critical literature on the problems of the development of Ukrainian literature, make generalizations and conclusions.
12. Content of the curriculum
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide a professional study of the main trends in the development of modern Ukrainian literature from an ethno-cultural dimension, to form in students objective scientific knowledge about the modern Ukrainian literary process as an important ethno-cultural project.
The course consolidates and deepens basic knowledge of the history of Ukrainian literature, in particular the regularities of the development of the modern Ukrainian historical-literary process in relationships with other branches of Ukrainian culture. Continues the systematic study of vivid literary phenomena in the Ukrainian cultural and stylistic epoch of Kin. 20th-21st centuries. In the process of studying the discipline, students study the ideological, thematic and genre-stylistic specifics of the works of Yu. Andrukhovich, O. Zabuzhko, H. Pagutyak, S. Zhadan, Yu. Vinnychuk, and others. , reveal the ethnocultural factors of the works, their specific features.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of education: lectures, seminars, independent work. Throughout the semester, after lectures on relevant topics, seminar classes are held, at which evaluation is carried out according to the types of work (oral response, addition, report, participation in discussions at lectures and seminar classes, presentation of the results of independent work in the form of reports, messages, presentations; modular control work).
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, preparation of individual educational and research tasks, control work) and independent work. All types of work for the semester have as a result:
in the maximum dimension of 60 points,
in the minimum measure of 36 points.
In case of absence from the seminar session, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar.
Final assessment:
Written exam: RN1.1, 1.2, 2.1 - 2.6, 4.1-4.3 - 24/40 points.
