PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 3. Organize own learning and self-education process. PLO 7. Understand the major issues of philology and approaches to solving those using relevant methods and innovative approaches. PLO 12. Analyse language units, determine their interaction, and characterize linguistic phenomena and the underlying processes. PLO 19. Have the skills to participate in scientific and/or applied research in the field of philology.

Successful mastery of theoretical and practical disciplines, such as "Practical Course of the German Language," "Theoretical Phonetics," "Lexicology," "Stylistics," "Theoretical Grammar," "Classical and Modern Linguistics: Part 1 "Latin Language", Part 2 "Introduction to Linguistics", "Regional Studies of German-speaking Countries" and "Introduction to Translation Studies," involves a comprehensive understanding and application of the knowledge acquired in these courses. Students are expected to demonstrate proficiency in various aspects of language study, including practical language skills, phonetics, vocabulary analysis, stylistic analysis, grammatical principles, and a broad understanding of linguistic and translation studies. The successful completion of these courses contributes to a well-rounded education in the field of language and linguistics.

The "Bachelor's Thesis" is oriented towards confirming the professional level of the student, deepening specialized skills and knowledge of an innovative nature, and the analytical and creative application of this knowledge to produce new insights for addressing relevant issues in German studies. The writing of the thesis concludes with a public and open defense, which is one of the forms of final assessment for higher education recipients. The work is carried out in the Ukrainian language, while the defense is conducted in the German language.

Bachelor's thesis review by the scientific supervisor, bachelor's thesis general review, bachelor's thesis defense. Assessment criteria for the each form of control are given in the program of the bachelor's qualification work.
