Course content
The discipline involves a comprehensive approach to language instruction: all aspects of the language are taught in parallel with the development of speaking skills and communication training. Teaching and assessment are conducted in English and Ukrainian languages. The teaching of English is based on the fundamental principles of the communicative approach to foreign language learning, utilizing authentic materials and simulating real communicative situations. The communicative principle is defined by prioritizing communicative goals within the four types of language activities, while considering the secondary importance of language and thematic materials as the foundation for further development of communicative skills. The instruction is carried out through practical sessions and independent student work.
